Project Description

Phases are periods of 3 months. It is currently Phase I, which ends on December 31, 2026. Every phase, participants are caretakers of one dungeon section. They may either pick an existing unclaimed section or create a new one connected to at least one existing section. At the end of the phase sections are assigned new caretakers, participants submit the "current" documents to the next caretaker of that section.

Connections between sections can be added, modified, or removed with the consent of both section caretakers involved, and cannot be modified otherwise. (e.g. If Section A and Section B are connected via elevator, Caretaker A could not change it to stairs without Caretaker B's agreement.)

Other than connections between sections, caretakers can do whatever they wish. They have complete creative control, as if it was a dungeon level made in their own game. They can add, remove, alter, expand upon, play with, simulate, or anything else to the content. Caretakers can even do nothing to a section, letting it sit completely unchanged. All is valid. A dungeon section is no set size, could be any number of levels or sublevels. The only requirement is that it be nominally vaguely interior, whatever that means to you.

This website will serve as a repository and archive for the work of past phases.

There is no final publication date, no final product. The project will continue until it ends by apathy or calamity.
